For the price I wasnt expecting much and sure enough, the remote looks every bit as cheap as it is, but whats more important is that it works, and it does. Its precise and does what it has to do. The quad itself felt surprisingly heavy, but very sturdy. Ive not crashed it enough to comment on durability, but I expect it will be pretty good.
In flight this little gem is amazingly stable. Its my first 6 axis QC; I had only flown a larger mQX blade until now, which only has 3 axis gyro, it really shows. Hovering is super stable, even in wind. But push the controls (in "expert mode") and it will shoot like an arrow from a bow. Very impressive. The assisted flips are also well implemented; just yank the throttle fully open and press the collective in some direction and it flips instantly, needing no more than ~1-2 meter, if that. Recovery is infinitely more easy than with the mQX.
On the downsides; the LEDs look pretty cool but are barely visible in daylight. I have to get used to the throttle response, it seems rather "sticky". And the manual is pretty confusing and often incorrect, but if you apply some common sense, it shouldnt pose a problem. Last "negative" is that because of its tiny size, its hard to see which way its going when flying outside. Brighter leds would have helped, but also make sure you pick the yellow version, I accidentally ordered the red one which is too dark.
Shipping was fast, took only 3 days to get to Belgium.
