I was disappointed to find that it was an American game in dollars rather than in pounds. Also there were items missing from the pack and I have had to return it for full refund.

Wine opoly board game bought for me as present. Easy to play, no detailed knowledge of wine required but some is helpful, enjoyed by all older players but not by children.

Discovered this game when in a friend's house and it was great fun. My husband bought it as an early Christmas present.
However it's missing pieces, namely barrles and the chateaux box which holds the money.
It seems that another customer had the same problem so perhaps it's a bad batch.
Fun game though, but disappointing with the missing pieces.

Great game for beginner wine lovers 11 Aug 2011

We discovered this game when we were invited to dinner by our friends. We had so much fun playing we decided to get one ourselves. The game is pretty much like that of Monopoly but instead of chance cards and community chest, you get red and white wine cards. The board has names of the different, well-known varietals and in place of railroads, more well-known wine countries are used. The plus for me was the fun facts found at the back of the "deed" cards - it tells you how to pronounce the name of the varietal, where it is usually found...etc.

I purchased this game to take along on a Girls Weekend Getaway. We really enjoyed playing . It's very similar to Monopoly, so if you enjoy Monopoly and enjoy wine - you will truly enjoy playing this game. It's a fun game to play.

Wineopoly was a hit 19 Jan 2010

This was the perfect Christmas gift for my sister! She absolutely loved it, because she recently turned 21 and now can try the wines that are listed on the board. She actually purchased several that were listed, and was pleased with both the wine and the facts on the back of the cards. A must for wine lovers!
