i was unsure as to what to make of the album when i saw the tracks included, but being a long time fan of the series and recently picking up the excellent Cinematic Orchestra Late Night Tales i thought i would give it a go, boy oh boy what a mix it is, i have listened to this 4 times on the trot on my car cd player as with each play you pick up on another great mix between tracks, the one between Pascal Rogé - Gnossienne #3 and Gary Jules - Mad World is brilliant, timeless music and brilliant mixing make this a "must have" in any serious music lovers collection

Another great mix 21 Oct 2011
Most of the time latenighttales mixes work for me half the time. You love them or they leave you cold. I have and really enjoy both Groove Armada mixes, Cinematic Orchestra, Nightmares on Wax, Tommy Guerrerro, Jamiroquai, to name a few. This one holds up as well as those and goes down well with people who come round and you put it on. Some of the transitions between tracks is done so well, and the flow of where the tracks are in the mix is about right. I could take or leave one or two tracks, and for me the stand out part is up to and including Tubular Bells. This would be in my top 3 from this mix series, this one is slightly unusual as its not on general release and has no sleeve credit for the mixer. I believe there was a longer version available for download directly from latenighttales and this is cut down to fit on a CD.

Top Notch Late Night Mix 15 April 2011
By M. Stevens VINE™ VOICE
I have been purchasing the Late Night Tales series intermittantly for some time now, and I will be the first to admit that there have been highs and lows (although I ordered this with Late Night Tales - Midlake which is also excellent). However, I beleive this to be the best in the series, at being the most appropriate for the "general" music lover (where as many of the others rely on you liking the influences of the compiler).

Whilst there are 39 "offical" tracks, there are many more samples blended seamlessly into the mix, some musical, some dialogue from movies.

A brilliant, totally chilled out hour and quarter, and a must for anyone who likes the "Late Night Tales" series, or indeed music from the movies.
