And the weirder, the better. Latchkey is a daily comic strip that takes its cue from the likes of The Perishers, Calvin and Hobbes and Peanuts. It's about a group of eccentric and vaguely defective kids who spend way too much time hanging around with each other, having budget adventures and getting on one anothers nerves. This book collects the first 85 strips.
From the Author
Doing Nothing and Doing It Splendidly is the first collection of my daily comic strip, Latchkey. I grew up with daily strips, and The Perishers, Dilbert, Calvin and Hobbes and Peanuts left an indelible mark.
I've been drawing and self-publishing for eight years, but this is the first strip I did that I could really show my mum. Big hearted and reasonbly wholesome, Latchkey is what I've been waiting for almost a decade to get round to.
