This is Enid Blyton's best school series, and Last Term is the best book of the series, because you get to find out where Darrell, Sally, Alicia, Betty, the honourable Clarissa Carter and Gwendolen Mary Lacey end up. I won't spoil it, but in the words of Oscar Wilde - the good end happily and the bad unhappily, that is the purpose of fiction.

I bought this book as a present for my 8 year old granddaughter. She is delighted with the book, and can't wait to read the other 2 books I purchased with this one.

The last term was my favourite in the series. I liked it so much I read it in 4 days. When I heard about the new books I was really happy. I really liked the hairpin trick and when Jo was expelled.

very pleasant
my grandchildren loved it especially that it was a favourite of their mother and aunt, i.e. my children. It's nice when the tradition goes on.
