When they started to issue LOTSW tapes I was very pleased and even more so when they went on to DVDs but they started with great gaps between each issue and I complained to the people issuing them that I would be long gone by the time they caught up with the issues. Then happy days they started fairly regular releases but now that the series has finished it seems that releases have also finished or slowed down so much that my first fears of popping my clogs before I got the full set are again becoming a reality. Come on guys there are not that many left to release and I like a lot of people who loved the program are getting very old and we want to finish our collection. The actors managed to complete the series so why can't you - if I die without my full set I will come back and haunt you dressed as compo.

I agree with all of the other reviewers, the faithful 'Last of the Summer Wine' devotees seem to have been forgotten since the series finished. There have been plenty of repeats on the various channels so why can't we have the things released on DVD. Come on lets have the DVDs released, otherwise I will be joining Raymond and the others to come back and haunt you, in the guise of Auntie Wainwright.

It has been almost 2 years since the last release and nobody seems to be able to say when the next one will be available. Come on pull your finger out. I love this programme and am keen to get the full set.

why why why are we waiting for so long to see the DVD set of the best programe ever made and released. Someone must have the answer??. It does't make sense to all normal people that such a popular programme that can make money for someone and make a lot of people happy with the release of the next DVD .we should have had them ALL by now ! its not as if there is more to be gained by holding them back. Open all hours, Hi De Hi, Porridge , Heartbeat need i go on are all out we need an answer as to why they have not been released ! Can we use the freedom of information act or do we all need to come back and haunt the ______ resposable for not giving us the last DVD's afterall they have had our money for the others ,so i feel cheated, dissapointed, let down, angry, frustrated and much more .Give us the answer but more importantly give us the last DVD 's NOW !!!

I sympathise with Raymond.
They used to say New Zealand was 20 years behind the rest of the world. Perhaps it's true, but I'm hoping to see the last series before I'm 91. I have all the series on DVD to date, and have by now certainly qualified as a old buffer!

Come on Amazon, After this there are still 29-31 to go. Some of us would really like it in this life time.

I hope the last three are all released together and without the 4 or 5 year delay.

It is still one of the best sitcoms ever made.

I agree with all of the previous reviewers. When Only Fools And Horses finished, Auntie almost broke her bloomers releasing the whole lot in one fell swoop. Summer Wine though? Dribs and Drabs. What the "Blood and Stomach Pills" are they playing at?

“Whoever is in charge of releasing these DVDs is not too bright. Just because this series ran for 37 years doesn't mean it has to take 37 years to release it. The target audience will be dead before then! You're losing money right now!”
