A very interesting and emotional film that pulled me into Kiefer Sutherland's portrayal as a man on death row, Denver Bayliss. This is one talented actor who communicates not only through his acting ability but there is a subtle glimpse of Kiefer himself. He has the talent to make you feel he is close to doing something you don't expect. The change in his direction starts in his eyes, the evil look, hard stare and in a heartbeat he adds the vulnerability of Denvier Bayliss. Kiefer very astutely raises the issue of the death penalty and gives the viewer the chance to go down to that place of the death row prisoner. I recommend this film highly.
