Having sat through this I can say I felt, but didn't partake of a stiff alcoholic drink after to make sure I was still in the land of the living. This is a film I could DEFINITELY recommend to insomniacs.Story about a group of alleged Welsh people who move to the USA in the early 1800,s where their leader kills a small tribe of friendly Indians, for reasons unknown. For this he has to invoke a Welsh tradition? of The Sin Eater, a proposterous individual who has to live away from the remainder of the group but at the time of one of the groups death he is summoned to attend the burial where he prays and takes it upon himself to take-up the persons sins so they can truly rest in peace? As time moves on Cadi Forbes our heroine in the story needs to have her own sin taken away and needs therefore to meet the Sin Eater BEFORE HER DEATH.I will not go further to spoil any story for others.Cadi is played by a precocious Liana Liberato, her granny who has a cameo role by Anne Cullimore Decker who it's hard to tell when she is alive or dead in the film,Soren Fulton plays Fagan Kai,Stewart Finlay McLennan plays Brogan Kai the bully and Peter Wingfield The Sin Eater. And there's only 1 welsh accent between them all?

My wife and I thoroughly enjoyed this production, as my wife is a fan of the book author and the story this film is based upon. A must see!

I find this film very moving each time I watch it and am so pleased that I purchased it even though it will only play on my pc.The actors are very good especially "Cadi" Liana Liberato and the Sin Eater played by Peter Wingfield.
