It's simple to use, easy to clean but as cheap and cheerful as you'd expect for the very reasonable price. Build quality is good, which is why I bought German.
The thing makes a hell of a noise though, so if you don't like things whirring in your kitchen for hours on end, buy something else. I'm not all that fussed though, as for me it's not too much to ignore.
All in all a top purchase. Hope to avoid quite a lot of the usual fruit and veg waste.
The only thing that took me by slightly surprise was that most things take 8 - 10 hours to dehydrate: I suppose I should've realised it wouldn't be a 20 minute thing!
I've done some great raw vegan meals, snacks etc in this dehydrator. It's a lower temp than the standard dehydrator meaning when following recipe's i've had to add a little time but if you don't need it for large batches of food it's a great little device.
It's easy to use with one switch on and off and the trays are easy to clean. It can be a little noisy but it's nothing major.
