This looked and felt great when I bought it and it stood in the garage waiting for some snow action. Well today it got it with about 6" of snow on my drive. I started clearing it, at first it was going well, nice and light and easy to work with. After a couple of minutes the metal lip on the shovel fell off, I carried on without it and this has resulted in damage to the leading plastic edge where it scrapes the ground. The handle is telescopic, waste of time as it only extends it by about 5" and is a gimmick. Because of this the handle is held in place by grip rings that you twist up tight to hold it in place. This is ineffective, no matter how hard you try to tighten it. The handle turns out of line with the shovel and closes down on itself if you catch a raised edge when pushing along the ground. Finally, there are two screws that hold the shovel to the handle. I hadn't spotted this until the shovel fell off and I saw the holes where the screws used to be. They are now buried in the snow on the drive and will no doubt find their way into my front tyres. I put another two in, these also came out within 5 minutes and will no doubt end up in the back tyres. I have now glued two screws in but when I get time I will just fit a wooden handle to the plastic shovel and be done with it. Not impressed, not recommended, buy a simply made one-it ,will still do the job and can't fall to bits! I gave it one star because it looks good on the garage wall!
