The description of the item says 'Las venas abiertas de América Latina' by Eduardo Galeano, when in fact it is a critical work on the former book, written by Libardo Torres. This is not specified on the website. There are two different books and I got the wrong one.
I've written to the seller three times to request a refund, but they wouldn't even answer my emails. NOT RECOMMENDED.

The Open Veins of Latin America is an interesting interpretation of the thinking behind what motivates current Latin American politics.
A must for all students of Latin American politics and economic history. Whilst not always agreeing to the authors interpretation of events it is still a must read to gain a wider understanding of the background on the future developments of a still volatile major continent of the world.
