Great series 21 Feb 2011

Las Vegas is definitely one of my favorite TV series. The fast scenes from the casino and through the strip is amazing, hope this series is entering Blu-ray very soon. Could agree a bit on the bad transfer on this DVD, it also has no English subtitles which I like to use.

Overall an highly entertaining and recommended TV series.

By E. Smith TOP 1000 REVIEWER VINE™ VOICE
Format:DVD
The first series grew on me, with all its glitz and glamour, and I eventually came to like most of the main characters. Series 2 improves on that, as is often the case, with a bit more character development and slightly more outrageous plots.

Danny is just a loveable lunk (my wife says), Ed is (very) unbelievably well-connected and tough, Mary always looks like she's about to burst into tears no matter how happy she is and Sam is as edgy as ever.

We always laugh at the incredible magnification of their surveillance cameras. Even CTU would struggle to match their ability to generate crystal clear blow-ups from what looks like a speck of dust, but without this technological breakthrough probably not even available to the CIA, many of the stories would go nowhere.

The series ends with a number of cliffhangers and we have Series 3, 4 and 5 on order and are looking forward to it.

Sure it's bubblegum tv, but it's very pleasant to watch and we even sometimes have to watch "just one more" to see what's going to happen.
