Excellent archive photographs with minimal intrusive text. 25 July 1999

Really only of interest to exile 'Larky folk' like myself. This book is a 128pp treasure trove of photographs and illustrations of Larkhall's history. What sets this book apart from other photo archives is:

1. The amount of hitherto unseen photographs.

2. The fact that more recent ('60s) photographs are also included.

Well researched and written introduction, but more detail could have been given about individual photos.

A trip down memory lane to all 'Larky Loons'

Handy Size , Great collection of B & W Photos . Anyone from Larkall , as my father is , should enjoy it . Different eras covered to include a wide variety of scenes. Also includes ad's from the past.
