We use this as a laundry sack to take washing from the flat to the clothes line down 3 flights of stairs and back again. It is much handier than a basket or hamper and folds away easily (we hang it folded flat on a hook inside a cupboard). I like the simple modern design and the fabric is sturdy. I would like the manufacturers to design a matching peg bag!

I have the beige version of this laundry basket. It seemed to suggest in the description that this would stay upright so that you could easily pop dirty laundry into it. The sides continually fold in on each other and when you try to put laundry in it, the edges catch and fold into the basket. I thought it would have been fold-able, but made of sterner stuff (more starchy perhaps) so that it would act like it looks in the picture. Alas, it does not.
