Built a new PC but naively thought that the existing Zoom USB 802.11b/g would work with Windows 7 64 bit. Unfortunately, it seems Zoom can't be bothered to provide a Windows 7 driver let alone for 64.
Looked around and, for the price, thought I couldn't go wrong with the Laptone although I'd not heard of the brand. I'm pleased to say it works out of the box. Just install the network utility from the CD, configure your connection to your router and you are away. You don't even need to install the device driver as Windows recognises the hardware as soon as it is plugged in. Although my router (Netgear)is not 802.11n there seems to be a much stronger signal than with the Zoom adapter and no dropped connections.
This device is not shown in Microsoft's Windows 7 compatible products but it definitely works and with a minimum of fuss.

It took just 5 minutes to setup, I plugged it in and windows recognized the device, inserted the CD in and flash, job was done.
Connected to my wireless router and great connectivity and speed. For an item as cheap as this both speed and reception are excellent, we have a spare PC upstairs and it was just too far to run a cable, the adapter works fine.
If you are like me and you don't require anything fancy and merely want to be able to connect up a new or old PC, seriously don't waste your money and just get one of these.

Excellent delivery. Good product. Totally new to broadband but managed to connect within minutes. I recommend for anyone like me who doesn't know what they are doing!!!!
