This is the debut single from super producers THE NEPTUNES under their working name NERD, which stands for No-one Ever Really Dies. 'Lapdance' has already been a big underground success on the UK club scenes and is destined to reach chart acclaim. The track is a hard hitting slice of hip-hop featuring rap by Pharrelland vocals by Shay. The sexual connotatons are misleading and this song is actually carries a political message. The Neptunes are the brainchild behind KELIS - Caught Out There, ODB - Got Your Money, and MYSTIKAL - Shake Your Ass to name but a few. Further success is sure to follow having produced for N'Sync, No Doubt and Britney Spears. The full cd 'In Search of...' encompasses many different production styles with the standout track beng 'Tape Me'. The Neptunes are superstars in the own write and to all die-hard fans this CD will be seen as a classic!
