These milk storage bags are in a tissue pack type dispenser for easy access and storage, and have a double zip for secure seal. The external write on tab eliminates potential puncture and ink contamination. They have a gusseted bottom for expansion during freezing, and are developed especially for the freezer.

If you want to express and store milk in the freezer then these are ideal. But why are they so expensive ? they are nothing more than a glorified sandwich bag.. again it's a case of charging what they want when it's to do with your baby !

These did the job, I liked the double seal feature (two ziplocs) and being able to write on them in biro - but I did have a few that split and leaked, particularly when defrosting, which was annoying - especially when you've struggled to express the stuff in the first place!

When I was expressing and freezing breast milk these were an absolute lifesaver. We only have a very small freezer, but these pack together and squash flat. They very rarely leak, and they hold a whole feed. Like the other reviewer, we used cups for storage too, but finding breastmilk freezer bags meant that we could use the cups for fridge storage.
When I gradually stopped breastfeeding, we still had a ton of these left, and I wasn't sure what to do with them. I then discovered that they're brilliant for storing individual portions of soup and pasta sauce (and anything else vaguely liquidy). I can now make a load of soup and pasta sauce at the weekend and not worry about it taking up all the freezer or going off: it just gets frozen in individual portions, in leak-proof bags, and then my OH can just defrost what he wants for lunch when he gets home. I've just finished the last lot I had and ordered some more, and they'll most likely be on my shopping list for a long time yet!

These are sturdy bags that have an excellent seal on them with useful measurements up the side so you can see how much milk is stored.

Very cheaper and practical
It's very veeery practical because you can store a lot of milk in a small space. You have to store the milk in horizontal position for fast defrosting after, when you need it.
