I needed a T.V. stand of about 24" wide to fit in a limited space in a room. I looked in a number of places but could find none smaller than 28" wide, usually in glass and with a £50-£60 price tag (what is it with these manufacturers?) Then I saw this - perfect size, wood effect, and with a shelf, and CHEAP! It was ordered and delivered within 24 hours, well packed in polystyrene, so no damage to corners or faces. Goes together in 5 minutes with no tools needed. O.K. it's not real wood, and the legs are plastic, but it's sturdy, looks good, and does the job for a fraction of the price of others. Highly recommended if you don't want to pay the earth.

The item arrived precisely when it was scehdule to and was extremely easy to screw together, even for a female! However, I did need to turn the shelves over where possible due to imperfections here and there. It serves its purpose very well and is not too big and cumbersome, unlike other TV stands, so very suitable for smaller areas. Also suits modern decor.

The stand is simple yet sturdy. Self-building is quick and simple and the result looks really good. The delivery is also first-class - you even get an e-mail to tell you the time of the delivery. An excellent buy.

TV table
What a nightmare! For a start it is plastic and flimsy and it breaks easily! I don't trust it holding up a TV at all. The wood is poor quality and the legs are just eeeurgh! Read more

cheap plastic legs broke doing up
