This book was primarily a route guide for walking/touring around the Island of Fuertoventura. Several dozen route descriptions were included, which covered the whole spectrum of landscapes and sights in this fascinating and amazingly varied Island. Sections on day trips to the Islands of Lanzarote and Lobos are also included. All practical information needed such as bus/ferry timetables are also included. The best (and most useful) aspect of the book however, are the maps which accompany each section. All points of interest, route times and level of difficulty etc are provided. In short, a handy guide that greatly enhanced my enjoyment of a beatiful little Island.

Excellent guide to Fuerteventura - we covered the whole island by car in 3 day-trips, starting from Caleta de Fuste. Mixed and matched from the two main car tours offered to accommodate different start-point. Guide is slightly out of date, as some of the "bumpy tracks" are now beautifully surfaced roads - indeed the road system is first class. The information given on locations was accurante and very informative.

this book will be great for people interested in driving and hiking around the Island and was useful when we were doing just that. Most people go to Fuerta for the Beaches, however, and it is a bit hot to do a whole lot of hiking. Would have liked ths book to be more focused on beaches than it was.
