Excellent guide,

Corsica holds the most beautiful landscapes in the Mediterranean, and this book gives the reader all the help needed to explore the best hiking paths on the island. Noel Rochford's superb guide is my first introductions to the Sunflower Landscapes guides. On the basis of this guide, I would not hesitate to purchase any of the other Sunflower Landscapes guides to other travel destinations.

This (Landscapes of Corsica, 4th edition) was our first Sunflower Guide, and from now on for every walking holiday that series will be our first choice of walking guide. In spring 2009, we stayed in Algajola and Corte. All the walks we chose to do from the book were described (by text and map) in a way easy to follow, and the walking times given were a very good help for evaluating which tour would be appropriate. Even in areas where the local signs were missing it was very easy to stay on track thanks to the very detailed directions given. Big recommendation.

Corsica may be french, but all other resemblance stops right there!Brilliant guide book will help you get the most of out this extremely scenic and mountainous island.The terrain dictates that some of the walks are for more accomplished walkers and may take quite a while to drive to, too. We did 3 of the walks and enjoyed the Gorges de Restonica best of all as it was not too difficult in the heat.Driving in Corsica is not for the faint-hearted, but your efforts will be well rewarded.
