We did walks nr 1, 2, 3 and 10 in the summer of 2003, and had some breathtaking moments while walking along Algarve's beautiful coastline. The discriptions and directions in the book were excact and easy to follow. Although the walking times in the book didn't quite fit our level of training, it was no big issue as we enjoyed every moment of the walks. We have used the Landscapes series for walking directions in other parts of Europe as well, and we have not yet been disappointed.

My wife and I have just come back from a short break in the Eastern end of the Algarve. We took this book with us and managed to do walks 17, 18 and 19 - and found them accurate and easy to follow. Some very nice walking indeed, and lively in Spring with so much in blossom. The only small complaint is that, the Algarve being what it is, the walks were never really wild and a lot of "rough old tracks" have now been upgraded to surfaced roads.
We've been fans of Sunflower Guides for years, and although we've had some difficulties with the Andersons' navigation and above all timing in earlier books, we were not disappointed with this one and are looking forward to trying more of the walks before too long.

We have used Sunflower books for several years now and the latest purchase of Algarve Landscapes did not disappoint. Sunflower books will always find you unspoilt villages, car tours and walks in beautiful places, far away from the crowds associated with the Algarve.

More accurate than most guide books

Almost Flawless
