A passion defined! 2 July 2009
Format:Hardcover
When reading this book, you very quickly get infected by Charlie's passion for photography. And you soon realise why you take photographs and he makes images - I've never had the urge to stand up a ladder for 4 days waiting for the right light to appear! Some of his descriptions of landscapes make you feel like you should have some Elgar playing in the background to do them justice.

Anyone with an interest in landscape photography should read this book - for how Charlie's mind works as much as the quality of his images.

This a beautiful book from whom I consider the Master of Landscape photography

Charlie Waite pictures look like paintings and as an amateur photographer it is very interesting to read and get inside Charlie's' head on his thinking about his favourite photos.

Well worth the money

Some very good stuff here, marred by shoddy repro. His work - although, in my view a little over rated - deserves better than this.
