Format:Paperback
Margaret Silf helps the reader to understand where he is on his journey towards God. She helps us to recognise the positive and negative forces which are at work in our daily life, and how we can deal with them. The reader emerges as a more mature person, who really understands his Self with all its moods, desires and distractions. The book is accessible, yet not simplistic. There are plenty of spiritual exercises at the end of each chapter, which enable the reader to personalise the " landmarks ".

I have enjoyed it tremendously and will keep dipping into it.

This book can certainly be described as challenging - you really need to stop and think about what Margaret Silf is saying. It is a book to take you time over and not to rush. The various exercises map you life to various landmarks like a stream from its beginning until it joins the sea. The illustrations make it easier to follow the various exercises and thoughts. I found the best time to read it was when I had half an hour to spend rather than a rushed 10 minutes - you will notice the difference! Overall this book opens up parts of you that you never knew existed.

Highly accessible 15 Dec 2011
By Mel H.
Format:Paperback
Margaret Silf's most gifted use of anecdote and imagery must make Landmarks one of the most accessible books in recent times on the Ignatian way for anyone truly searching or wishing to deepen in their spiritual relationship.
As ever, Margaret's style smacks of authenticity and of her genuine gift to both discern and guide imaginatively. A beautiful book in all senses. Thank you for such a gift.
