Overpriced 28 Mar 2008
Format:Paperback
Though incredibly overpriced for the content that is supplied, it makes up for this in usefulness. As a must have for all students studying A2 Geography.

With multiple case studies and concepts this will aid you in gaining valuable information

A good buy, easy reading 12 Aug 2003
By A Customer - Published on Amazon.com
Format:Paperback
This book is very simple and easy to understand, I particularly liked the variety of illustrations and diagrams. It offers a good starting point to examining hazards and responses with specific case studies and examples. It also offers a summary at the end of each chapter and questions to test knowledge and understanding.
For those of you without previous knowledge, the book is not very detailed about how hurricanes, tsunamis or other natural disasters occur/formed so another book explaining this may have to be used in conjunction with this book. Otherwise, very student friendly.
