The Landmann Grill-Chef 43 cm kettle charcoal barbecue is based on a classic design. Its compact size makes it suitable for outdoor cooking at home, at the park or on the beach.
This kettle barbecue has a 43 cm chrome-plated cooking grill and is suitable for cooking food for up to four people. It features an enamelled lid and fire bowl with chrome-plated ventilation discs for heat control. A chrome ash collecting tray is also supplied, for easy clean up after use. The barbecue also features side carry handles, to help you place the barbecue exactly where it's needed, while the weather-resistant wheels help you to easily move the barbecue around your garden.
This barbecue is capable of cooking many different types of food. It copes well with the basics such as sausages and burgers but is equally at home cooking more adventurous foods such as fish, seafood or even grilled fruit.
Landmann charcoal barbecues can be used with lumpwood charcoal or briquettes while the gas models use readily available propane gas cylinders.

I seem to buy a new bbq each year. Wife goes mad, but this one keeps above grass so can be used on any campsite, which was the reason i bought it. Quite good quality once assembled, and fits underneath our camper table whilst travelling. Not height adjustable for cooking but if you work out the amount of c.coal you need, cooking using this is a doddle. Always leave an area of cooking space free from c.coal for food which has been cooked but needs to be kept warm whilst the rest of the food is cooking.

I haven't had a chance yet to actually use the barbeque in anger, but I see no reason why it shouldn't be fit for purpose. So I will keep my comments to what I've observed during set up.
The instructions for assembly are clear, although some of the components needed a little adjustment to fit.
My one criticism is that the barbeque is advertised as being able to use all types of fuel, however, being a fan of lump charcoal, I noticed that the spacing of the bars on which the fuel is placed is such the many of the smaller pieces of charcoal would just slip straight through the bars on to the base of the body. I solved this by adding a garden sieve mesh. Of course this also meant that I had to make some major changes to the fuel retention gates

As it looks as we are going to have a decent summer this year, we decided to trade in our rust bucket we bought from Homebase 2 years ago and go for a branded barbecue instead.
We have not heard of Landmann before but have seen alot of their products in Tesco, Debenhams and of course Amazon. On that basis we assumed it must be a good quality product. We were tempted to go for a Weber barbecue but when we compared the specification and prices they seem very over priced for what they are.
This barbecue was really easy to put together, with very simple and clear instructions. The cooking area is big enough for our family of 4 and is not so big that it takes up much room on the patio. Our only criticism is that the Amazon image shows wooden handles, whereas the barbecue we received has plastic handles (which actually looks better). Overall we are very happy with this product and looking to have another barbecue tonight!

compact and easy to store away ,only problem is if left outside uncovered rain collects in the dip where the top handle is and could rust .

great little BBQ holds enough food to serve 6 people easy to store in the shed as it is not too big my last BBQwas too big and ended up outside all the time and went rusty hence... Read more

Rubbish!
Not enough washers. The handles didn't fit to where the holes were pre-drilled. It is not sturdy and I feel I have wasted my money.
