This is a well finished and produced book, good glossy pages with many excellent photographs all superbly reproduced.
The book is more than pictures, the 12 chapters take the reader through all aspects of the models and the various differences and changes made during production. Detailing specific changes and modifications of the chassis, engines, body work etc. along with a whole host of unusual model variations that even the keenest Series II owner could never have imagined.
Whether you are undertaking a restoration or just want to learn more about the Series IIs this is a must have book. It would make a great present for any Land Rover nut.

A good book covering the detail changes throughout the life of the series 2 & 2a Land Rover. The book has certainly clarified a number of points during my rebuild project, as well as having many more points of interest such as the options available throughout the vehicles production period. I thought that this book was a worthwhile purchase.

A book for Land Rover Series II/IIa nuts. Well written and detailed, though I was disappointed by the fact that the photographs where the same as in the authors "The Land Rover: 60 Years of the 4x4 Workhorse".
