Because it tries to cover three different Land Rover models, it can't go into a huge amount of workshop detail, but this book is a an excellent starting point for anyone considering modifying a vehicle (or considering buying a vehicle to modify, because it does clarify choice quite well). It serves a very useful purpose in comparing the use and value of various modifications and so potentially could save money in the long run.

While no book can cover everything, this is a great book to get you started with modifying a rover for off road or just maintaining your rover. Plenty of photos for the parts and sections of the vehicle discussed. Land Rover fan or Newbie get this book.
