Loved the first book so was really excited to see the new book come out. I guess the bad thing about having is a kindle is that you can download instantly and therefore I devoured this book in way too little time as I could not put it down!

Further adventures in other worlds that literally had me on the edge of my seat trying to predict what was going to happen all the way through it. I couldn't.

I work in a school and recommend these books to all my kids, perfect for adults and children alike.

Won't speak about the story itself for fear of ruining it, but definitely as good as the first and cannot wait for the final installment.

I mean I literally cannot wait, so please hurry with it;-)

I absolutely loved the first book. I had a list of books to get through before reading this one and now I am wondering why didn't I just read it first. I cannot comment on the entire book but I can say that I am struggling to put it down, which is a problem because maybe I will end up losing sleep. Oh well, totally worth it!

I enjoyed LAND OF NOD, THE PROPHET just as much - if not more - than his first book! So rarely do you find a sequel that keep you hoping for a third in the series, but this one definitely fits the bill! Highly recommended.

The characters and story Gary Hoover weaves are captivating. Personally I found THE PROPHET even better than THE ARTIFACT, which I loved. Most sequels don't appeal to me as well as the first, unless it is obvious that the author built up the complete story as a set. I'm awaiting the third book of the tale. I can't wait to see how the story ends.

Gary has made a very realistic world where magic and courage go hand in hand. We get to see young people grow into young adults making all the hard decisions. It just gets better and better.
