Product Description

Review

"Elizabeth Cooke has produced a clearly written and admirably concise work which often uses colloquial examples to help the reader grasp the material. Though no doubt intended primarily for law students, Land Law will appeal to anyone interested in penetrating the thicket of the law of real property rights." --GEOMATICA, Vol. 66, 2012

Elizabeth Cooke is a solicitor; she has been a professor of law at Reading University since 2003. Rather than spending hours reading the main text books on the subject, I used this book to get an overview of the seminar topics and I would then focus on the journal articles suggested by my tutor. This book made studying land law enjoyable for me, I would recommend it to anyone studying land law. It is an excellent academic book on the subject.

It is a good headway to the complex English land law systems. I have found it useful as an introduction - Clear and concise in its explanations.
