A tale of one young lady's struggle for a happy life.,
By A Customer
This review is from: Lancashire Lass (Hardcover)
Lancashire Lass is the tale of a Young Woman's struggle in 1800's Lancashire. She escapes from her horid father to Australia, only to fall into the hands of another cold hearted user, who only marries her after his wife makes him promise to, after her death. This wonderfully written book takes you through Liza's tales of struggle, unhappiness, happiness, laughter and again sadness... I thoroughly enjoyed reading this book and was very upset when it came to the end. I am very much looking forward to Lancashire Legacy...

This review is from: Lancashire Lass (Hardcover)
Lancashire Lass is Anna Jacobs new novel, I have just finished reading it, couldn't put it down, it held me absorbed on every page. Her writing is unique in the sense that ANY book she has written are all first class, you know our some authors may now and then have a book that does not come up to others they have written, well not Anna Jacobs, try reading the Hallam saga and I will guarantee you will end up buying all the other books she has written. The first book in the saga is Salem Street.
