I bought this book on a whim after seeing a quick review when logging in to hotmail one morning. The review basically said "brilliant, and a I a mean brilliant, photography". So here is me contemplating a Gallardo after winning my case against Ferrari, and bought the book just to see how good the pics really were. RESULT: Sure enough yes, the book is full of superb photography, including some of the older classics from the early days, and the superb concept cars over the years, but there's lots and lots (did I say lots ?) on the Murcielago and Gallardo. There's even a series of photos staged at the Muira ranch, who's bulls gave their name to the most famous Lamborghini ever. For me this book was money well spent. But if you are after a properly written treatise on Ferruccio the man, or lots of precision road tests, then don't buy this as there are none, and only the vaguest references to a each cars top speed and engine power. Besides, anyone wanting even an `entry level' Lambo cant quibble the performance on offer as they have no competition in my view and you really don't need to know if they are too slow etc. But from photographic point of view the book is excellent.
