Well-written & clearly illustrated throughout, this book offers a full history of the Lamborghini marque from 350GT to Diablo, via legendary cars such as the Miura and Countach. As well as details of every production car to leave the factory, the rarer concepts are given space and attention. The company's all-too-brief involvements in motor racing are also given a few pages at the end.
Hodges' writing is clear and concise throughout, with interesting anecdotes (e.g. the origins of model names) adding to the descriptive nature of the book.
Perhaps the only downfall is that, having been written in 1998, the book does not include the latest Murcielago & Gaillardo models, but this can not detract from what is a very creditable book - especially at such a low price.
