When my baby was 3-4 months old I panicked and felt that I had to get these wrist rattles as I wanted help her find her hands. The rattles were nice and of good quality but my baby didn't (and still doesn't) seem to find them that interesting. She eventually found her hands herself without any toys. I'd say don't bother getting these. Better to invest in some other more interesting and educational toys.
