Oh, poor sweet litte Pillow! This Lalaloopsy Mini is doomed, which is sad because she is the cutest of them all. My gentle and careful daughter tried to adjust Pillow's legs into sitting position, and one of her legs snapped completely off at the hip. Apparently, the "joint" is a tiny thing, and in comparison to the doll's thigh, it doesn't securely anchor the leg when moved. I repeatedly tried gluing the leg back on with every single kind of glue, but it won't remain in place! I even tried Super Glue. So now, Pillow is my little desk mascot.
I contacted MGA about this, and their attitude initially was "too bad, so sad." I remained steadfast about getting a replacement Pillow, asking to correspond with management on this issue. Finally, a rep said that I needed to send in a photo as proof of the wounded toy, and they would replace it as a ONE TIME courtesy. So I got a replacement, but I stress to my daughters to be very ginger in handling her. Which makes it not too fun to play with. If your dolly breaks, definitely don't give up on MGA. They aren't all that easy to deal with, but they aren't horrible either.
I think that the mini Pillow Featherbed would be fine for very careful, older children~ or better yet, just for collecting. The company really needs to improve the engineering of this mini style. I noticed that there are a lot of other newer minis with these anchored hips, and I am wary of buying them because of Pillow's dilemma.
