Get ready for a living, feeding nightmare when a swarm of gigantic crocodiles terrorises a secluded country lake. When local wildlife is brutally mauled and campers are reduced to carcasses, biologist Nathan Bickerman (Colin Ferguson) knows a voracious predator is on the loose. So does a feisty female hunting guide (Yancy Butler) out for her next trophy. As the body count rises, the local sheriff tries to keep things quiet and keep the tourists coming. But when the horrifying, hulking truth emerges, can anyone stop these cold-blooded killers before they claim their next victim? Lake Placid 3 is pulse-pounding, adrenaline-pumping, pure horror film fun.
Synopsis

I'm a sucker for B-movies and creature features. While I love the original film, Lake Placid 2 was ingredibly boring so my expections for part 3 were not high. However I thought it was quite enjoyable and didn't find myself looking at my watch like I did for most of part 2.
The CGI crocs are terrible. This film looks like it had no budget for it's "stars".
The acting, on the whole, is good for this kind of film (apart from the awful kid) and the locations look great.
It's daft low budget monster movie entertainment with gratutious nudity and cgi gore. I would recommend it to fans of that genre.

i was not expecting to like this dvd to much, but i was wrong, it scared the be-jesus out of me and my brother, so needless to say, i enjoyed it very much. thank you

Sat down not expecting as much as Lake Placid 1 and I enjoyed this film for what is was intended for, a bit of fun, some terrible acting, some bad effects, and the hot babe got eaten but very watchable.
Get it for less than a fiver you won't be disappointed .

lake placid 3
If you want blood and guts and be so so scared. This is the one for you. Have never jumped so much in my life. This is the best one of the 3 yet it is a must.
