Having loved Laguna Beach seasons 1 and 2, I was looking forward to watching Season 3. Unfortunately, it just wasn't as gripping as the previous 2 seasons. Don't get me wrong, it certainly does have its shocking moments, its "what were you thinking" moments and of course its entertaining moments, but I just wasn't quite feeling the characters as much as the previous 2 seasons.
For starters, I am still abit confused as to why they chose Tessa to be the leading girl / narrator to the show. I get that she appears to be sweet and innocent with a girl next door persona but she always seemed to be abit nervous around the cameras and I don't think she was ever able to be completely natural around them. Kyndra could've well been the leading girl, but with her being so much like Kristin (season 1 and 2) I think she may have been compared to her too much.
I suppose if you have seen the first 2 seasons then go ahead and watch this just to complete your Laguna Beach collection, but don't expect anything special. Only one of the characters from the previous seasons makes a regular appearance (Jessica) and on the odd occasion a couple of her friends, and I think Lauren Conrad makes a very short appearance once near the beginning, but other than that it's a whole new cast.
