This was the first Barbara Erskine book I ever read, and I totally enjoyed it, and have read it many times since. It is a very romantic and gripping story, and I found it compulsive reading. As the story unfolded, I became completely drawn into the book, and I found the characters totally believable, and the whole concept of two lives entwining throughout history totally captivated me. I found myself longing for the climax of the story, and yet not wanting it to end. A perfect book to read in front of the fire on a dark winters night!

It is incredibly rare to find a book that stays with you long after you have finished it. I first read Lady of Hay 4 years ago and have read all of the authors other books since. I had no idea what to expect from Lady of Hay, but was drawn into the book so quickly and completely, that I could not put it down. I found this to be one of those incredibly rare novels that touches you, I found myself thinking about the story and characters many months after I had finished reading it.

This book is wonderful, quite simply the best book I have ever read and read and re read No way am I going to give away any plot details and spoil all the fun!

The subject of hypnotic regression & reincarnation could well put some dyed in the wool fuddy duddies off, but please try it. I would hate for you to miss out on a book which captures the imagination with it's well drawn historical and contempory characters, both of which meld seamlessly together.
I read this book on it's original release many years ago and I cannot praise it highly enough. So good I wish I'd never read it so I could enjoy it fresh!
