I bought this book for my niece who's at that 'delicate' age when she's full of questions about life and lads, but isn't too keen on asking mum or dad (or even her uncle!).

I had a good look at this book before giving it her to make sure it was suitable and I REALLY recommend anyone to buy it. The information was great, not patronising but not too explicit (but not prudish either). It's also written in a really chatty way, so teens feel like they're being given advice from at mate, rather than a stuffy 'expert'.

FYI - my niece loved it! I thoroughly recommend this book.

It's fantastic to get realistic advice that actually works from people other parents, the subject BOYS is quite embrassing to bring up with your mum and dad.
The first Paragraph felt like i was reading my own life!
I love the idea about putting in other peoples boy stories to learn from and the flirting tips work like a charm!
When i took this book into school to show my friends they were all over it. One of them used a flirt from the book on this boy she really liked, two days later he asked her out!
My favourite chapter is lads decoded.
I would recomend this book to girls in their teen years.

Great! 30 Dec 2007
I was asked to review this book for the school magazine, a few people had read it and recommended it. Well, I can say that I loved it! Felt like a very funny (and experienced) best friend talking to you. Some of the stories were really funny, and great to hear other people make the same mistakes as we do. I thought it was good for our age group (16-18), but much of it would also be great for younger girls 'starting out'.
Gave it 5* in the school mag, and will do the same here!
