Irene is worried about the people of the planet, but people closer to home are causing problems too: her son Christopher, who has been travelling the world carbon trading, has fallen in love. The 'Ladies of Letters' series are always such good fun to listen to. If you have a long journey these two irrepressible women are just what you need to keep you going between 'pit stops'. Much better than the TV series.

What joy to listen to, especially whilst driving! All those fellow drivers must think I'm mad laughing to myself! It makes you want to get out your pen and paper or, as I have, tap away at your keyboard to old and new friends!
