I was dragged along reluctantly to see Ladies in Lavender and, surprisingly, actually enjoyed it.The acting was excellent and, although it was a tenuous story, it was enjoyable. However, what really overwhelmed me was the musical score. The soundtrack to this film is stunningly beautiful and very moving.I had heard of Joshua Bell, the violinist, but had never heard him playing before.I have very wide taste in music but, even those who don't tend to ever listen to classical music, will love this.It is music that you can listen to over and over again but, be warned, it does tear at the heartstrings!I enjoyed Joshua Bell's playing so much that I am thinking of buying another of his CDs to go along with this one.Do give it a try.You wont be disappointed.
