An artist worth watching 22 April 2011

I normally don't like to review things, I think that it's kind of pointless and, lets face it, you look for the only one star reviews to read because they say something different than what everyone else says.

That being said, I have to write a review for The Ladder. Andrew Belle is a very gifted musician just brimming with potential, and it completely shines through with his freshmen release. there are upbeat songs that really show off his style of writing, but then slower songs that really stress and accentuate his vocal talents.

Overall the Ladder is worth every penny spent. I look forward to many more great hits from this rising star.

Excellent discovery!! 25 Sept. 2011
By Teresa - Published on Amazon.com
I first heard of Andrew Belle's music from watching Grey's Anatomy and two songs caught my ear. After discovering that Andrew Belle was responsible for both songs, I downloaded his album from iTunes. That was the best purchase I have ever made! His album is so unique, peaceful, soothing and addicting! He is going to blow up someday and the only reason I wrote this review is to help him with that as much as I could. His music is worth every penny, worth the listen, and worth sharing. Andrew Belle has such a beautiful voice and you will not regret buying this album. Enjoy!

Amazing 9 May 2012
By M. Myers - Published on Amazon.com

Like others, I was drawn to this music after hearing it in a TV show (the recent season finale of Castle for me, and "In Your Veins"). After searching for the song that caught my attention, I read the reviews of his other music, and downloaded this plus that single, and am so glad I did. The music is so rich and gorgeous, that I actually stop what I'm doing to concentrate on the lyrics and truly "hear" what he's saying.

The song that has stuck with me the most so far is "Open Your Eyes" - 'open your eyes now, it's time to leave, it's time to leave . . . me.' The emotional lyrics and the powerful piano are beautiful together.

Like all the others have said, this is well worth the money. Before you know it, all the songs have played, and its time to start them over again.

Ear candy in a good way ! 23 Aug. 2010
By Paul Endicott - Published on Amazon.com
First thing I noticed about this album is the Banjo! I have never enjoyed Banjo music nor is it part of most music I listen to. However is lures you in and sticks in your head. The opening line to the song ladder " Wohh as me faithless you and selfish me I will leave a key inside your doorway." is absolute poetry. I downloaded the song and ordered the cd. Something this good you simply must have a physical copy. The other 9 tracks are anything but filler. Every sone including "Make it without you" are instant classics. Just begging to be on a "Greys Anatomy" soundtrack or other drama fueled tv series.
