Amazon Verified Purchase
Having decided to buy a quality stainless steel mincer for ease of cleaning and hopefully a very long lifetime, I took a risk on ordering this model even though it had no customer reviews. It turned out to be a disappointment. First off, the package containing the mincer was loosely packed inside a large outer cardboard box which was damaged on delivery. The quality of construction of the mincer is more flimsy than the photo would suggest: the top cone is made from thin stainless steel sheet while the screw drive is actually made from cast aluminium, not stainless. Worst of all, the bottom cone (with the sucker on the base) is a separate part which is bolted onto the main body, and the bolt heads stick up into the mincing cavity. These will obviously trap bits of meat, as would the internal ribs which are only welded at intervals to the walls of the chamber. So much for easy cleaning. If it had been half the price it might have gained a 3-star rating, but it is simply not a premium product although it is priced as one. This item went straight back to Amazon.
