Review
"Dolores Marat is to photography what Edith Piof is to the French song. These photographs are born out of fortuitous but violent encounters, like flashes of lightning." - Pascal Bonafoux
Product Description
In Labyrinth, her fourth book, leading French photographer Dolores Marat continues to explore contemporary life through imagery that both provokes and disturbs. Her photographs have an extraordinarily dreamlike quality - as if we are drifting in and out of consciousness. They are moments as fleeting as the flicker of a TV screen - strangely disturbing and unsettling, drawing out our deepest sense of unease about contemporary urban life.
