This home distribution unit is designed to distribute any combination of SKY, SKY+, FM, DAB, UHF and CCTV signals around the home.

Built in mode switch optimises the unit according to requirements - either for systems with a satellite receiver, or those without.

The return feed from the living room then distributes the RF channels around the house via the Uplink connection on the Home Distribution Units.

Each Secondary point in the house or apartment can receive any combination of digital and analogue TV channels, FM, DAB, CCTV and the RF2 output from the SKY box with the facility to control it using an infra red remote eye.

I read the description carefully: it does NOT distribute satellite level signals to several outlets. It sounded as if it distributed LNB inputs to several outlets - no it does not! It merely distributes RF output from a satellite box (if it has one). I wanted to distribute satellite level signals (50 ohm) to two other rooms so I could have a Freesat box in each. This will not do that at all so I returned it. It looks like the only way to do this is a passive splitter (with signal loss) or to use a multiple LNB with separate down-leads. If you want an RF distributor then this would be fine, but I don't want that!
