I had previously a cheap "Aqua" media player, which was OK until it stopped working, then an Iomega Director which was very prone to "freezing" when watching films, so I decided to have one last try to find a reliable media player. All I wanted was to be able to play movies from the internal hard disc, and am not interested in internet connectivity etc. I narrowed it down to 3 candidates, and went for this one as it had no gimmicks, and looked very easy to use.
So far I have watched over 100 hours of media without a single problem - no freezes, it just plays, and is very simple for non techies to use.
So far - full marks. Amazon delivery was as usual very quick - well ahead of schedule even although I picked free delivery.

Needed a hard drive fast, and seeing as this had gotten good reviews i decided to try it out. And i must say, it exceeds every expectation i had.
Works silently, no heating problem, upscales all my videos, feels/looks/sounds great!
I have nothing but praise for this piece of equipment, i am looking to buying a second one, i just hope they can start making 5TB sets, that would be awesome!!!!!

Ok before I start on what's good I let you know the only bad point. If you are from the UK dont expect a UK plug it will come with a multitude of adapters but no English 3 pin plug so had to buy an adapter. Apart from that This unit is amazing, has played all formats I have put on it including some that didn't work on my Xbox. From what I have tested it has played AVI MKV WMV MP3 and all DivX variants. Surprisingly quite unless you leave it on a desk in which case you can here it vibrate I just place it on a plastic mat and its fine. All in All very Happy
