It is a brilliant product like all the other ones from the Effaclar range. However the box was battered on arrival and the product had been opened. I could tell as it had a bit of product on the opening before I tried to squeeze some out. Dissapointing so 3 stars only for La Roche Posay!

I have used this product before and it is excellent.

My only negative comment was that it was over wrapped with tape and took a while to open!

HASH(0x92f5d9f0) out of 5 stars truly amazing product 7 Dec. 2011

I bought this via Amazon through a retailer in the UK. Not only was the shipping faster than some other items shipped from within the US, but they sent me a bunch of freebies along with my order. Who doesn't like freebies? GREAT service!

As for the product, I covet this brand. My skin tends to be excessively oily (especially in the T zone), and this moisturizer coupled with the Effaclar face wash is my skin's saving grace. Seriously. The moisturizer goes on light, not oily at all, and dries on my skin so that it's matte all over with out drying out/flaking, and my face soft as all get out! Really. I've heard girlfriends say the Body Shop has a similar product for less money, but after 20 years of searching for the best product for my skin type, now that I've found Effaclar I won't use anything else.

It seems a bit pricy for the amount, but a little goes a long long way. I find myself using around a pump and a half for my entire face and neck--one of these little tubes lasts me around 2 months. You don't need much, and it works SO, SO, SOOO well.

I highly suggest you try it if you have oily skin or want your skin to look matte. Promise you'll convert for life, too.

HASH(0x9330bc84) out of 5 stars Good for oily skin, but not the final solution 2 Dec. 2011

I have stubbornly oily skin. Most mattifying products that I've tried before don't work for more than 1 hour before the shine seeps through, however, this moisturizer helps keep the glare to a minimum for a longer period of time. I do love the feel of the moisturizer; it feels good on my skin. To actually mattify, the best combo I've found is this moisturizer under Cosmedicine Medi Matte. Over the course of a few hours, that combo doesn't prevent some oil from accumulating, but it prevents the shine which is what bothers me the most. When my skin starts to feel oily I just touch up with oil absorbing sheets and I'm good for another few hours.

love this moisturizer. It's got a nice, light scent and goes on softly -- doesn't feel greasy or heavy, gives you a nice glow. I only wish it were available directly through Amazon w/ Prime shipping.

HASH(0x93307894) out of 5 stars La Roche-posay Effaclar M Daily Mattifying Moisturizer 13 Feb. 2014

I had to write a review about this product. It's amazing! Moisturizes skin without leaving it sticky or oily. Even in south Florida's most humid days skin stays smooth. I've had some problems with mild cystic acne (and with other La Roche products) it's almost gone. I've used Olay and Clinique in the past and they can't compare to this one. I'm a fan for life.

Really helps with the little bit of acne I still get after doing Accutane, and is absolutely THE ONLY THING that has ever taken away the blackheads on my nose. La Roche-Posay has never failed me, so why would they now :) Just be sure to put a thin layer on like it says
