new sounds for chillout lovers

Being a big fan of the MOS compilations, i was intrigued by this new batch of chillout mixes. I was getting a bit tired of the annual chillout comps. They we're getting a bit predictable and have since stopped collecting them.(I think the last one i bought was way back on 2005-06. This new series gives new life to the genre. After a few listens, I'm glad to hear all new tracks artfully mixed. Finally, new mixes without any Chicane's track "offshore" or Groove Armada's "at the river". If you are a fan of MOS chillout comps. or the Hotel Costes series, give this a try. There are now five collections in this series, so far. ENJOY!!
Great compilation, a good start for this series

If you are not familiar with the La Nuit series it is a cross between chillout, late night sessions and chilled house compilations, but with more obscure songs. Whilst this is a great compilation I think 2-5 outshines it, but it set the scene for what was to come. If anything download the track Smooth, most people will not have heard it but it is a standout on this compilation. Other than that a very solid compilation to sit back and enjoy and much better than any of the recent chillout albums, especially the endless ones released on Ministry of Sound Australia.
