Wow - a budget price but a stunning performance. If you like Sarah you will love this concert, what other performer has the range and talent that she so ably demonstrates? La Luna moves Sarah to an even higher level, literally, as she soars above the stage and performs aerial sumersaults! From the stunning entrance in a leather Egyptian looking skirt to the amazing finale this DVD grabs and holds your attention. As well as some of her old favourites she adds disco and lunar themes. As well as Dolby 5.1 there is a well recorded DTS sountrack and 90mins worth of extras that are entertaining in their own right. A Best Buy and no mistake.

Great value 22 Mar 2002

It is difficult to see why this has a budget price tag. A superb 90 minute concert with Stereo PCM, Dolby 5.1 and DTS sound, then a further 90 minutes of extras. There's a variety of styles, so there's something for everyone and it's of such a quality that you'll probably enjoy all of it. I certainly find little use for the skip button with this DVD. Any negatives? Not really, you get a glimpse of dancers occasionally and it would have been nice to have an alternative camera view so that you could watch them. I guess the DVD is already full to the brim (not worth sacrificing the DTS sound track for the extra angles). The "English" subtitles are in the same language as the songs, an option for true English subtitles for all songs would have been nice. But these are insignificant quibbles, this would be good value at twice the price.

Sarah gives fantastic concerts, and so you will learn from this. Her talent is obvious as she delivers her songs without losing control of her voice. She sings most of the songs from the famous 'La Luna' album with some wonderful extra's including an English version of 'There For Me' which features a flawless Josh Groban. She also delivers the famous 'Phantom Of The Opera' songs which, if you missed her in the original cast, this is the closest thing you are going to see of her performing as Christine Daae. How could anyone want to miss the delights of listening to Sarah deliver Pie Jesu and Nessun Dorma live? The famous 'Time To Say Goodbye' is there again but it is on her own.
The extras include a music video of 'A Whiter Shade Of Pale,' a documentary of making her video, making the concert, making the album, the photoshoots, etc. with her commentary - some humorous moments. This DVD also has the glimpse of an unreleased song of 'Forbidden Colours' if you can find it. Subtitles are available (in the language of the song) and overall you get 90 minutes of bonus footage. I can't pick out anything wrong with this DVD, why is it so cheap?! Buy it before the price goes up!
