I've always had trouble conjugating French verbs. With so many irregular verbs it is impossible to remember them all, so it's great to have a book to check them all! This book includes more verbs than other book (that I know of), and the beauty of it is that it is compact, so one can carry it around without feeling the extra weight. I recommend it to everyone learning French.

This book is the best conjugator ever. Never mind those websites with 8000+ verbs conjugated, this has every verb in the French language -- that's over 12000! This book will cover all of your needs -- except, of course an English translation, but it's a French book. If you learn French, buy it now; it is well worth the money.

I fully agree with the first reviewer. You won't find a better book of verb tables out there!

The book has the most common verbs set out as in a normal verb table, with all the tenses and moods (e.g. the subjunctive) that you could possibly wish for. In the back of the book, you have an index of verbs, each of which links up to a more common verb which has the same pattern. In this way, all 12,000+ verbs are referenced - so in using such a small book, you can conjugate any verb into any tense.

There is even a section that explains French grammar - this is in French of course. But there is an English version of the same book, if you'd rather everything is in English.

I've been using this book since sixth form (I've now just completed my 2nd year at university) and it has truly been, and continues to be, an invaluable resource to me.

Well worth the purchase - you won't regret it!

J'ai acheté ce livre pour mon cours de francais. Je ne parle pas bien le francais, et je connais la conjugaison seulement dans un niveau trés élémentaire. Ce guide est très utile pour apprendre bien à conjuguer les verbes en francais.

Anyone who are going to studying French, or studying French, or will study French, it is better to forget bilingual conjugation book and stick to monolingual, which is this, book. We have searched several conjugation books, and decided to take this one long time ago. It did help a lot in advancing our ability to master French verbs.
There is no con in this book, many pro-s.
1. Coloured text makes easy reading, helps memorising.
2. Paper quality is very good, stand the test of time, after years of usage, the book is still intact. Very good binding.
3. As stated before, because it is written all in French, you learn as French native speakers would when growing up in French speaking area of the world. This helps tremendously your brains to think in French, which is essential if you want to achieve French mastery.
The book is the pillar of French learning.

I have used this book for years now. The French version is clearer than the English one by its coloured presentation of all the radicals/endings/exceptions, so that patterns are easily discernable.

I recommend it to any teacher or student.
