I've had this teapot (and the black one also listed) for some time and find they allow one to produce cups of tea exactly to taste. You can see the degree of infusion through the glass and remove the basket of leaves at that point. I find the Cafetiere teapots have infusion baskets with a finer mesh than some other similar makes. The latter allow some broken bits of tea leaf to escape and continue to infuse after the basket is removed, which, for those of us who like our tea very weak is a disadavantage.

An excellent tea pot with infuser, it pours without dribbling, the infuser is easy to remove and clean and the fine mesh means that the leaves are well retained. I thought the handle looked flimsy but it is actually a very firm handle with a good grip.

Absolutely brilliant little teapot. Couldn't be simpler to get a decent cup of tea. The removable tea leaf/teabag holder makes the whole process of brewing a cup of tea very clean and tidy. It holds just enough liquid for 2 cups of tea. If you want a little teapot that does 'just what it says on the tin' then this is the one for you. I love it and believe me I never thought I would say that about a teapot.

Cafetiere Teapot
An excellent item, very stylish looking and the smaller version is ideal for one person as it provides for just over two cups of tea. Very easy to clean as well.
